Battery disposal
According to the Battery Act (BattG), batteries may not be disposed of with household waste. As the end user, you are therefore legally obliged to return used batteries.
You can return used batteries to a municipal collection point or to a local retailer. As a battery dealer, we are also obliged to take back used batteries, whereby our take-back obligation is limited to used batteries of the type that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our range. You can therefore either return used batteries of the aforementioned type to us with sufficient postage or return them free of charge to our dispatch warehouse at the address given in the legal notice.
Pb = battery / accumulator contains more than 0.004 percent lead
Cd = battery / accumulator contains more than 0.002 percent cadmium
Hg = battery / accumulator contains more than 0.0005 percent mercury
